10-3-14 – Lower Body Accessories
Following a disappointing squat, or should I say, max effort reverse band bench, day, I decided to rest my hip for a minimum of a week, and perhaps picking up on it again during my next dynamic lower body day. So, today, instead of maxing on reverse band squats, I decided to void my hip out of my entire workout for the day. Without squatting even once, I instead just attempted to blast through my accessories as hard as I could, beginning with SSYB good mornings. Unsure of the weight I used in the past, I just moved my way up to a still pretty easy set of ten at 120 pounds. From there, combining exercises and super setting my way through my workout, I blasted through my accessories and burned out before just barely completing 2 sets of 10 roses, 2 sets of 20 cable crunches, 3 sets of 10 side raises, and just a set of GHR crunches, along with the jump rope.
