10-31-14 – Halloween Squats

fortlauderdalebeachesGina and I will be traveling to Florida this upcoming April! Time to get back on track with consistent training! I have already dropped 30 pounds and I will continue losing unwanted body fat while training hard. Not only am I going to look sexy next to my wife on the beach but I plan on lifting in a lower weight class in my next powerlifting meet! For the next couple of months I am going to train with lighter weights with more reps. I feel that I lost my groove with getting myself in the right position during some of my lifts. I feel this will give me more practice at my main lifts and allow me to be in the proper body position.

Squats felt easy for the most part. I was mainly focusing on the little things such as keeping my knees out, holding my abs and upper back tight and driving my back into the bar. If I get all these little things perfected, they will soon become a habit once again. I finished the session with the necessary accessories that will help strengthen my squats. It was a great session with an awesome environment.
