10-5-14 Max Effort Bench Press
Today I was feeling low on energy and a little sore from yesterday’s heavy squat session. My wrists were feeling a majority of the discomfort from benching, causing the weight to feel heavier in my hands. I still needed to get the necessary work done so I decided to use a little assistance by using the Sling Shot. It still allowed me to lift heavy without too much pain. I didn’t want anyone handing off to me until my very last set and my down set. This is not only a confidence booster and helps me get into the right position. I decided to hit a max effort for reps since I was using the Sling Shot. I put up some good weight and kept it very simple today. Overall great session.
