12-27-14 – Last Deadlift of the Year

Last heavy training session of the year and probably till the meet. I wasn’t the best. My goal was to hit 405, which I have done a few times, but today it wasn’t in the cards. I was feeling alright moving up in weight but I noticed the weight was coming up slow a little sooner than I had expected. When it came time to try for 405 I was already burned out and barely got it off the ground. I decided to take a downset of 325 for 10 reps which felt pretty good and looked fast in the video. The rest of the workout went pretty well and even though I didn’t hit the weight I wanted today I feel confident going into this meet.
