3-1-14 – Deadlift: Moving on DOWN & LTT8
So today was my first deadlift session of my new cycle. I used the 1-board platforms that are just 1.75 inches tall. Last cycle the 2-board platforms I used were 3 inches tall, so I’m slowly getting flexibility and better mobility in my hips. Mike helped me with those new hip mobility warm ups before this session and my hips were feeling great. I felt a tiny bit of a stretch, being over an inch lower than last week, but it wasn’t hard at all for me to get my hands around the bar without losing my form and dropping my chest. YES! I can’t wait until next cycle to be back on the floor and in perfect form.
The dates for the Elitefts Learn To Train 8 (LTT8) seminar have been announced: April 25th and 26th! Mike and I are REALLY excited and looking forward to this seminar. I’ve attended the past two in 2013 and Mike attended his first one in 2012. We will be going to further our knowledge about everything powerlifting, and of course, bringing it back to better our members, clients, and business as a whole. We also may have three of our members joining us at this one! It is sure to be an unforgettable experience! We just made some poster-sized photo collages of our experiences at LTT6 and 7 to put up on the walls at HPF. Pics to come!
