3-11-14 – Back to Squatting
Back from sickness and fully recovered and back to the gym for some heavy squats. Tonight was heavy 3’s and all my sets felt great! I felt that my technique was on point, and the bar positioning was just right. My warm-ups felt ridiculously easier than usual, which had me psyched up to star doing my work sets. My first work set was 270 for a semi easy set of three. My next working set was 300 for 3, and I also had my knees wrapped by Evan Davis. This set was heavy, but none the less I felt that my technique helped me out big time today with my squats. My last set was 315 for 3, and on this set the first two came up with good speed, and on the last rep I did fall forward. Falling forward is something that I need to improve on so that I can squat heavier and perform more efficiently on the squats.
