3-12-14 – Close Grip Incline Bench
Today is my arm day, and I usually do some type of close grip bench. I chose to do incline bench with the E-Z curl bar, which was something that I haven’t done in a while. Today I focused on keeping my elbows close to my side, because it is something that I need to work greatly on. I stayed at the same weight for 5 sets of 3 and one heavy double at the end. My warm- ups felt really good and they came up fast. When I went on to my first working set of 155 it felt heavy but it was almost an easy heavy. On all my set I kept thinking to myself to keep my elbows close to my side. I felt that I did a better job of keeping my elbows closer to my side. On my last set I was planning on only going for a heavy single, but the first one came up fast and I decided to go for a second. Overall to me a good close grip bench session.
