3-21-14 – Pick Things Up & Put Them Down

As many as possible today went pretty good, and especially since I haven’t done an AMAP with deadlifts in forever.  I was feeling nervous about trying 385 for as many, but with support from awesome people I was able to get 4 reps, without breaking my technique. My working sets all felt good, 305 for 5 and 345 for 3.  Dead stops have helped me become more explosive and also have helped me keep my back straight. Also doing snatch grip after deadlifting I feel has made a huge impact on my deadlifts. I am now incorporating good mornings into my training program to work on my lower back, core, and also my hamstrings.
