3-24-14 – Lessons from the Bench Press

Talk about a fight today with my as many as possible with 205. This is the heaviest AMAP that I have done with bench. It was pretty tough and my technique was off. I flared way too early and as I go for the 2nd rep I baby it on the way down and the bar bounces off my chest which made the last rep even harder. The 3rd rep was most definitely a fight, and I grinded it out. On my last rep, it seemed like all technique went out the window, but with help from Mike I was able to lock it out. Not the best bench day, but there is always more room for improvement.
