3-4-14 – Night of 5’s

Tuesday night is my regular squat day and today was all 5’s. To start off I was not feeling it all, and I didn’t feel squatting. I knew I had to get my mind right and just do it. All my warm-ups felt good, and by the time I got to my work sets I knew I couldn’t mess up. First work set of 245 for 5 felt well, and I felt myself getting hyped up for my next sets. Then came 265 for 5 which was a little harder but I got all 5 reps. Then lastly 275 for 5, which was the hardest set of the night for me. With the support of everyone at the gym I got all 5 reps.
