3-5-14 – Squat: NEED MOAR POUNDS
Today was the start of week 2 of this new cycle.. already! Mike and I always talk about how we can’t believe how fast time goes by. Every week one of us says to the other, “it’s already Friday?!” with disbelief that 7 days had passed by again. So yes, it’s already Wednesday, starting my week a couple days late because I just wasn’t feeling it Monday night. I was exhausted, hadn’t ate all day and figured it wouldn’t be productive to my training. Squats went really well today. I was sitting back way too far the first couple warm up sets, but as soon as the weight got a little heavier (my first working set), I was back in my regular form. I have always felt like that about squats; I need the bar to be heavy for me to feel like I’m getting in my correct form. Funny how that works; you’d think it would be easier with less weight. Nope! Looking forward to next week’s lifts!
