4-15-14 – Tuesday Night Squats!

Another Tuesday night squat session and this week it is as many as possible which something that I look forward too. Reasoning behind that is I want to see how far I can push myself with a heavy weight. I feel that over all my strength is increasing and my technique has bettered from many of my previous squat sessions. This weeks as many as possible was 330 lbs which I ended up getting for 3 reps. On my last rep I came forward slightly but I was able to get it up, I stopped at 3 because I felt my form slipping and I wanted to walk away with the satisfaction of hitting 3 hard earned reps. Also the atmosphere at the gym gets me motivated, and also to push myself harder. One of my accessories that I feel has truly improved my squats is front squats. The constant tension on the core helps me stay tight while performing regular squats.
