5-8-14 Sore But Still Benched

Today I was EXTREMELY sore from yesterday’s session. I still felt very weak since coming coming off of a weak of being sick. I lifted nothing really heavy today. I felt really right on the bench. I practiced a new grip, keeping my hands one finger inside away from the knurling and planting my heels in the ground for a greater amount of leg drive.

Skull Crushers w/ chains bar w/ 5 lbs x 10 bar w/ 10 lbs x 8 bar w/ 15 lbs x 8 New exercise! Felt cool with adding chains at the top of the rep! |
Band Tricep Pushdowns 4 x 10 - red band (burnout on last set) |
Dips 3 x 8 |
Plate Front Raises 3 x 6 - 45 |
DB Side Raises 3 x 8 - 15, 20, 20 |
