6-10-14 – DE Box Squats

Man was I tired after this session. Most DE lower body days are like this. I had a great session of speed box squats taking only 40 second rest periods between sets. I moved on to sumo deads, which felt great, keeping the same short rest periods between sets. Accessories went as planned. Those seated DB deadlifts were still mildly challenging, but good. I actually feel most of my legs and glutes working during these more than my lower back. Stability ball leg curls are always a struggle.. Today my hamstrings felt sore on my first rep of my first set of them, even though I had been plenty warmed up for quite a while. Good session today, especially for technique; I felt like I was on point with my box squats and sumo deads.
