6-13-14 – Deadlifts

Week 2 deadlifts felt great today and I feel that with every week, the more consistent I am ,the stronger I get. Not only physically, but mentally as well preparing myself for what it is that I have to do. I had sets of 3 today with weight that I have been familiar with, but the one set that I knew would be a bitch was my last set of 380 for 3. Contemplating how the 3 reps would look in my head, and also how my set up would be I knew I was ready to go. I kept my same technique, and followed through with dead stopping on every rep. Those 3 reps were challenging, but at the same time I also felt like I could have gotten more reps.
