6-28-14 – 680 lb Reverse Band Squat
Today everything was feeling great, minus my first warm up set of squats. It was hot in the gym but my muscles weren’t as warmed up as they should have been. I did some more mobility work and foam rolled a little more and felt better. The next time I got under the bar it felt great.
I wanted to overload a little bit so I could get used to having heavy weight on my back. Throughout all my sets I felt solid and it showed. This is the strongest I have felt in awhile. I left a few pounds in the tank but I decided to shut it down to save some for next week. I had great spotters and helpers throughout the day that really helped me push through. Great session in the very hot gym.
