9-25-14 – Speed Squats

I swear, squatting 600 lbs is less painful than squatting an empty bar. I better start warming up a little better or I’m just getting old. All jokes aside, my squats went very well. I brought my hands a bit closer to my body on my last couple of sets and I felt much more stable in this position! I will continue doing so in the future.

After my sets of light, but fast and powerful squats I decided to get some reps of snatch grip deadlifts. This will help me get some work out of my lower back and help strengthen up my weak points, not to mention that I felt it in my glutes a lot!!! I finished the session with the necesary accessories that will help improve my squats.
