8th ANNUAL TEAM HPF HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

HELP STRENGTHEN OUR COMMUNITY

It’s that time of year again! We are holding our 8th ANNUAL TEAM HPF HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE at High Performance Fitness! We have always received an outpouring of generosity from our friends, family members, student-athletes and their families and friends, and everyone in the community to collect a HUGE amount of food items!! We’re looking forward to seeing how massive we can make this year’s food drive collection with YOUR help!

The Rich Township Food Pantry, located in Richton Park, Illinois, is a local non-profit that serves the surrounding 10 communities with food assistance programs, including fresh produce, to low-income families that qualify for services. There’s no better feeling than to give with your heart around the holidays, and the cold weather. Everyone deserves to have a wonderful holiday filled with joy, loved ones, and a good meal to go with it, but so many do not have that chance. We’re here to make sure that the families in the south suburbs have that opportunity!

You can stop by and drop off your non-perishable donations to our facility at 21750 Main Street, Unit #19, Matteson, IL 60443 now through Sunday, December 29th during the following times: Mon-Thurs from 5-7pm, Sat from 12-2pm and Sun from 1-3pm. Call us if you have any trouble dropping off donations at 708-481-4HPF(4473).

The Rich Township Food Pantry has listed preferred items for the families they serve:

FOOD PRODUCTS
-canned soups
-ramen noodles (chicken flavor)
-canned tuna
-other canned meats (chicken, spam, etc)
-cereal (not the sugary kind)
-red jello
-dry pastas
-crackers
-oatmeal
-dry pudding mix
-canned fruits
-canned veggies
-condiments (ketchup, mustard, relish, BBQ sauce, etc)
-any other non-perishable boxed, bagged, or canned foods

PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS (travel size is best)
-toothpaste
-toothbrushes
-deodorant
-shampoo/conditioner
-shower gel/body wash
-bar soap
-razors
-shaving cream
-toilet paper (no paper towels please)
-anything else you can think of that’s used daily
