2-19-14 – Bench: Cardio?! & Progress

Well, it had to happen. Mike and I had been so good with waking up early and getting our training done. But today, both of us had slept through our alarms and definitely did not wake up on time to train. Oops! I ended up getting some good cardio in with shoveling snow and breaking up ice all morning/afternoon in front of our building. We had our first day over 40 degrees since like last year and we’re about to get a bunch of rain tomorrow so I didn’t want it to get even worse out there for our members walking in. This also worked my back and forearms like crazy. He got his training in later and I ended up waiting until 8pm to do mine. No biggie. I still had plenty of energy to spend. My hamstrings were still pretty sore from the leg curls and my lower back still a bit tight, both from Monday. I was still able to get into my normal arch and push through all my sets with no issues. I finished pretty well with 7 reps for my AMAP set. I was hoping for more than 10, but….. Progress! That’s the important part! Looking forward to starting a new cycle!
